Every year on January 6th, a familiar ritual unfolds around the sharing of a tortell: a moment of play, suspense, and symbolism. With Al Voltant, the Disseny Hub Barcelona becomes a large, shared table where this domestic scene is made public and monumental. Conceived as an interactive installation, the project takes the form of a 6-meter-diameter inflatable structure with internal lighting. By pressing a button, visitors trigger and share the emotion of finding the figurine or the bean.
